The
Rhapsody of the Seas, one of Royal Caribbean
International's newest ships, first set sail
in May 1997. Travelers are invited to
participate in a plethora of activities and
enjoy first-class amenities.
Perhaps the Rhapsody's biggest attraction is
its wrap-around ocean views through dramatic
glass walls, foremost in the two-story dining
room with bay windows. Epicurean options are
endless, ranging from breakfast in bed to
informal poolside lunches. Vegetarian and
low-fat meals are always available, and menus
run the gamut from Italian and Caribbean to
the formal Captain's Gala Dinner.
Newlyweds flock to the romantic champagne bar
and terrace, and a spin around the Shall We
Dance lounge is sure to light a spark in any
relationship! A state-of-the-art fitness
center, Egyptian-theme solarium spa and pool,
and two additional pools are sure to please
any exercise buff. Children are always
accommodated on the Rhapsody, with special
menus, baby-sitting services, and programs
designed to meet the specific needs of kids
aged 3-17.
