With
the highest percentage of outside cabins in
the Royal Caribbean fleet, the Radiance of
the Seas provides its passengers with the
ultimate "at sea" experience. Designed to
serve every imaginable whim, the cruise ship
combines speed, added comforts, greater space,
sweeping ocean vistas, and an enhanced staff.
Among the ship's spectacular features are the
10-story, glass-constructed Centrum, glass
elevators facing the sea, and six elegant
dining alternatives. Dine in luxury among
waterfalls in the Cascades Dining Room, or go
the upscale Chops Grille when you're hungry
for the perfect steak. For more casual fare,
the Windjammer Cafe has outdoor seating where
you can enjoy the breeze and sun. Within the
customizable Colony Club entertainment
complex, the Bombay Billiard Club, Jakarta
Lounge, Singapore Sling's, and the Calcutta
Card Club all provide unique venues with a
British Colonial theme for sport and
relaxation. The ship is also wired for the
21st century. At Royal Caribbean Online, you
can access the Internet and send e-mails. You
can even send an e-postcard to the relatives
back home with your own picture on it to show
them how much fun you're having on your
cruise.
Whether it's sports,
recreation, or leisure, you'll have no problem
finding it on board the Radiance of the
Seas. The seaside ShipShape Fitness Center
contains state-of-the-art exercise equipment
and offers fitness classes to suit all levels.
Located within the center is also a massage
parlor and hair salon. Golfers will find a
putting green and golf simulators, and you
don't have to be a rock climber to enjoy a
frolic on the climbing wall. There is also a
basketball court, game arcades, and three
pools, including the special kids pool area
that has its own waterslide. Several on-board
whirlpools and Jacuzzis mean that a soothing
dip in warm water is never far away--there's
even a whirlpool located in the Solarium,
where you can relax among cascading waterfalls
and stone elephants in an African Safari-like
watering hole. Additionally, the art studio,
well-stocked library, and host of shopping
options provide enjoyable outlets to spend an
afternoon. At night, the stars shine down from
above, the scene at the many bars heats up,
the excitement mounts at the casino, and the
Aurora Borealis light up the Aurora Theatre,
where dynamic productions embody the glitz,
glamour, and special effects of Broadway or
Las Vegas. With all this to do and more, you
won't want to leave the ship at the end of
your wonderful "at sea" vacation.
